How crazy! This video is from Discovery Health: My Strange Addiction segment. She doesn't even believe she has a problem! Surprisingly, doctors say eating colored chalk is more dangerous than eating white chalk but overall it doesn't cause problems to the individuals health. She's not alone though! There are many other people in the world that enjoy the texture of chalk...I don't know about you guys, but I couldn't bear holding chalk in my hand for a long enough time, let alone eating it! I get the chills even watching people eat it 😬

  2. i agree this disorder is very strange and knowing about it would def. help raise awareness about it. And I too have some problems dealing with chalk like holding or writing on the board with it, I can't imagine what it's like to eat it. YIKES!!

  3. also I got curious myself being that my name is JORGE and I tried a piece of chalk myself. I can relate with both her sister and say that its like trying to eat dirt and tastes like nothing !! ugh!! For me, I find chalk very repulsive and cannot work well with chalk eating or even writing on a chalk board. Just to dry and chalky for me.

  4. i have never heard of this disorder, i find it very interesting and weird because people dont usually eat chalk. so when you hear or see people doing it, its just very unsual. even if the white chalk isnt as bad as the colored ones, i wouldnt picture myself eating chalk.
